| FREE HUGS |
| This morning, before classes began at my high school, I had a friend approach me with the words "Hey, I have something for you!" It was said as anyone would when give a gift but I was taken back by the fact he had a garbage slung over his shoulder. Shilo P. then dropped the bag on to a near by table and extracted from it more a then an armful of white t-shirts. As it stood, it was FREE HUGS DAY and Shilo and Vasilis T. came prepared. They had bought and markered up a bunch of shirts with slogans and sayings. All were very amusing. We all were given shirts, (thanks guys, they rock) and we spent lunch and breaks embracing with strangers. It went over very well. Few people were weird about it, but most people enjoyed the hugs, some even asking for seconds. In an age where human to human contact is scarce, a free hug is pretty comforting. |

| BSPE vs. FPOF |
| A great war has begun. A war between a slightly known webcomic (FPOF) and an even lesser known webcomic (BSPE). My friend, the creator of Four Panels of Fun, and I have decided to start a comic war, with full rights being giving to each other to alter any comic posted on the other's site. The alterations will be used to create new jokes and to poke fun at the other author. I wonder how long it will take before one us takes it too far? Let the games begin! |
